as a green oasis reachable with a 30 minute walk. Towards the path

Malga Caserina is a mixture
of modernity and tradition: even if it has been recently restored,
it conserves the peculiar features of the old alpine huts, like, for
example, the wood roof and the walls made with stones.
The malghese runs both the farmhouse and the near agritourism,
a structure giving the possibility to locals and tourists to taste
the gastronomic specialities of the area. |

Malga Colo is easily reachable
from the small villages of Ronchi Valsugana and Torcegno, right at
the foot or the southern slopes of the Lagorai chain.
At Malga Colo the dairy products are made in huge copper cauldrons,
which allow the cheese to maintain the old tastes of the mountain. |

| Malga Valfontane is one of the
nine alpine huts which dot the Brocon pass. In addition to the traditional
butter and Nostrano cheese in this alpine hut also a great
quantity of fresh and smoked ricotta is produced. |

Brocon pass, midway between the Tesino Valley and the Vanoi Valley.
The local word “Brocon” means “heather”, a
